Rafael Nadal Defeats Roger Federer in Wimbledon Final

Twenty-two year old Rafael Nadal has defeated five-time Wimbledon winner Roger Federer in what is being called one of the most significant matches in the history of tennis. Despite a valiant comeback from two sets down in a rain-soaked final, Federer who was just last month trounced by Nadal in Paris, was no match for his Mallorcan rival and good friend in today’s match.

Exclusion of Gays, Lesbians from Adoption Process Breaks European Law
The European Court of Human Rights ruled last week that gay men and women are eligible to adopt children. The Grand Chamber of the European Court of Human Rights said exclusion of individuals from the application process for adoption of children simply because of their sexual orientation is discriminatory and is in breach of the European Convention of Human Rights.
